In addition to its operating budget, CSULB has a capital budget. Recent construction activity includes the new Molecular and Life Sciences Center in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, remodeling of the University Student Union as well as renovation in the Fine Arts buildings in the College of the Arts.
