Construction Affecting Parking Lots 3, 17, and 18

As part of the project to renovate Parking Lot 18 and create a safe walkway from the west side of campus to the Brotman Hall area, the south crosswalk from Parking Lot 17 to the west Brotman Hall plaza will be renovated so that it is ADA compliant. To accomplish this work, the access road and sidewalk from Beach Drive to Brotman Hall and parking lots 17 and 3 will be closed for construction from December 12th through the 23rd.

Merriam Way Closure

Merriam Way between Lot 15 and Lot 19 will remain closed until Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Please use Earl Warren Drive as a detour around the construction area by following posted detour signs. For more information please contact the Parking and Transportation Office at ext. 5-4146. View map.

Access to Parking Lots 17 and 3

On December 22nd and December 23rd, there will be no access to Parking Lots 17 and 3. For these two dates, Brotman Hall staff or those visiting Brotman Hall are asked to park in Lots 1, 4, 14C or Parking Structure 1. Starting December 24, access to Lot 17 and Lot 3 will be via the access road west of Brotman Hall. (The December 24 reopening of the access road could be delayed if rain interrupts construction.) On January 13, 2012, access to all lots will be available. View map.

We recognize and regret the inconvenience this work causes, but this schedule is required if all the work related to the Lot 18 renovation is to be completed by the start of the spring term. View rendering of the improvements to be accomplished by this construction.
