The purpose of Section Three is to learn more about using databases and the Internet to find information.  By the time you are finished with this section of the Library Tutorial you will be able to:

• understand which information formats are good for research (e.g., books, journals and magazines, the internet)
• determine if a web site is a good web site to use
• know the difference between free and subscription sites.
