An in-depth research tool covering all personnel associated with the London theatrical scene from 1660-1800. Includes maps and illustrations of London and line drawings of the theatres, both internal and external views.

Young, William C. Famous actors and actresses on the American stage. R.R. Bowker, 1975.

Primary sources of American theatrical history are reprinted in this marvelous source. The set contains excerpts of reviews from newspapers and periodicals which critiqued well-known performers (including foreign actors and actresses) who acted on the American stage, primarily in the 18th and 19th century.
