American Cancer Society

American Cancer Society has cancer statistics for minorities. Select Cancer Facts & Figures pull down arrow and select Cancer in Minorities or the pull down arrow for Statistics Archive and look for possibilities.

American Heart Association

The American Heart Association's Biostatistical Facts Sheets includes African Americans, American Indian/Alaska Natives, Asian/Pacific Islanders, Hispanics and Cardiovascular Diseases. For other statistics, Search the AHA's web site.

California Health Care Fact Book

This is a periodic publication of the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD). For 1999, it is a narrative, graphic collection of information from a number of State departments and private organizations on basic facts about California's health care, including population trends, health care conditions, expenditures for health-related services, health providers, and future health care issues. Statistics are included for race/ethnic groups for some of these topics.

Cancer Incidence and Mortality in California by Race/Ethnicity, 1988-1994

The California Cancer Registry (CCR) is the State's population-based cancer surveillance system. It collects information about almost all cancers diagnosed in California.

CDC - Divisions of HIV/AIDS Prevention - Basic Statistics

The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention provides topics of AIDS statistics which include race/ethnicity figures.

FEDSTATS

The Federal Interagency Council on Statistical Policy maintains this site to provide access to the more than 70 agencies in the Federal Government that produce statistics for public use. All the statistical information available is maintained by each Federal agencies on their own Internet servers. This may duplicate the other Federal government sites listed on this page.

Racial/Ethnic Patterns of Cancer in the United States, 1988-1992 (See COAST)

The SEER: Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results Program of the National Cancer Institute collects and publishes cancer incidence and survival data. This report provides a concise description of the occurrence of the major cancers among several ethnic groups in the United States.
