Library Literature & Information Science (CSU Authentication Required)

This database provides the full text of many public relations related articles.  It indexes many marketing journals as well as industry specific publications.  Therefore, you will find public relations articles dealing with both non-profit and commercial perspectives.

 

ERIC (CSU Authentication Required)

ERIC is a good source for researching school libraries as well as finding bibliographies for subject or age specific literature.  Also covers technology in the school issues and funding research.

This website will provide basic groundwork for infusing information literacy into the curriculum at all educational levels.

 

Information Literacy and Workplace Performance, by Tom W. Goad (2002).

An easy to read guide that attends to basic skills, thinking and decision-making, creativity enhancement, innovation and risk taking, computer literacy, subject matter literacy, learning how to learn, and securement of on-the-job help. Goad discusses an unusual but highly relevant topic: how do we place work into the framework of our lives, and how can information literacy help?

This book has reproducible activities (for schools and higher education) to help students develop information literacy skills.
