Guides to Web Sources

The following are guides that lead to the best web sources of international legal information. These guides may link to several different subjects within international law (i.e. law of other nations, treaties, etc.)

American Association of Law Librarians (AALL) Foreign, Comparative and International Law Special Interest Section contains links within courses, syllabi, and other guides.

American Society of International Law (ASIL) is arranged by topic or subjects (i.e. international criminal law, united nations, etc.).

International Relations and Security Network: International Law is arranged by topic or subject (i.e. international disputes and arbritration, law courts, etc.).

Library of Congress: International Relations is arranged by topic or subjects, i.e. human rights and environment, treaties and international law, etc.

Library of Congress: Law Library is arranged by topic or subjects, i.e. multinational collection database, global information network, etc.

LLRX.com Comparative/Foreign Law has guides to international legal sources by topic.

MetaLaw.com International Law is a list of major international sites. There is a general law topics or subjects page includes aboriginal law, law by country, international adoption, international abritration, etc.

New York University School of Law Guide to Foreign and International Legal Databases is arranged by subject, this site mostly is direct web links but at the end of each page are more research guides.

International Governmental Organizations (IGOs) listing contains some organization that produce treaties or like documents. This site also contains a few links to international treaties and agreements.
