Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals.
Print index to the sources of the Avery Architectural and Fine Arts Library at Columbia University. This is the primary architectural periodical index in North America. Its aim is to cover architecture in its widest sense, hence it covers topic such as interior decoration, landscape architecture, decorative arts and industrial design. Not current but good for historical research.

Professional handbook providing data for the planning , design, and detailing of interior spaces. Includes sections on specific types of spaces, construction details, architectural woodwork, and various tables, charts and formulas for planning. Also includes a section of data for ADA (American with Disabilities Act) requirements.
Art Full Text and Art Index Retrospective - These two databases provide coverage from 1929 to the present. Includes information on architecture, industrial design, interior design and landscape architecture from periodicals published throughout the world.
Bibliography of the History of Art - This database indexes and abstracts articles, art and design-related books, conference proceedings, dissertations, and more. This extensive and comprehensive index covers European and American art and design from late antiquity to the present.
Academic Search Complete - A general database indexing over 3000 journals. Over 1700 journals have full-text available. Coverage from 1984-present. Many articles on design, especially from a business perspective.
Factiva - This database offers full-text searching of about 5,500 newswires, newspapers, magazines and trade journals. A good place to look for articles related to interior design and fashion, especially focusing on the business or industry of interior design.
LexisNexis Academic - A full-text database providing access to a wide range of information, including current news, company information, and industry and market news.
ABI/INFORM Trade & Industry and ABI/INFORM Global - Both of these databases provide business and industry information from trade journals, newspapers and magazines. Full-text articles available from sources not found elsewhere.
