Detailed reports in form of PDF files from several hundred metropolitan area, 450 specific occupations by private and government employment.  Includes benefits. 

 Occupational Employment Statistics
Results of a mail survey covering 750 occupations and 400 nonfarm industries.

 Occupational Outlook Handbook

Indicates median annual salaries for 250 occupations, not as up to date as other sources.

 America's Career InfoNet
Detailed wage and salary data for occupations at the state and United States level.  Sponsored by the US. Department of Labor.  Current data for 1998, trends projected to 2006.

 Ecomp
Compensation data for top executives in public companies.  Search by company, state or industry.  "Most powerful executive compensation tool."

 Executive Compensation
A Business Week annual special report on executive pay, usually appears in April/May (in print HF 5001 B89).  Remote access available only to CSULB Students, Staff & Faculty through Academic Search Elite.

 Minimum Wage
From the Employment Standards Administration covers history, chart of wage increases, employee's rights, etc. as relates to the minimum wage.

 Minimum Wage Laws in the States
Provides a clickable map of the states that shows at a glance which states have a higher minimum wage law than the feds require.  When you click on the state it gives further information (basic rate, overtime, premium pay).

 Salary
Broadest salary comparison site with links to compensation surveys and well as a Salary Wizard which allows you to search by occupation and location (even zip code).
