MLA INTERNATIONAL BIBLIOGRAPHY
Indexes scholarly books, critical articles and essays in journals, and books on post-classical literature, language, linguistics, and folklore.  Coverage:  1963 to date.  Updated ten times per year.

HUMANITIES ABSTRACTS
Citations to more than 400 periodicals on archaeology, art, classics, film, folklore, journalism, linguistics, music, the performing arts, philosophy, religion, world history, and world literature. Abstracts are available from March 1994 to date. Coverage:  February 1984 to date.  Updated monthly.

ACADEMIC SEARCH ELITE
Find references to more than 3,000 periodicals in a wide range of subject areas, with many dating back to 1984.  Also provides full-text data for over 1,200 journals, with many dating back to 1990.  Updated as information received.

ERIC (Educational Resources Information Center)
Good source for references to journal articles and documents on teaching languages.  References to thousands of educational topics. Coverage: 1966 to date.  Updated monthly.

LIBRARY PRESS DISPLAY
Provides same day, front to back coverage from over 300 newspapers in the U.S. and around the world. It is just like reading the familiar print edition, viewers can browse articles and other key content, such as pictures, advertisements, classifieds, and notices while enjoying 60-day back issues access. Updated daily.

NEWSPAPERS (ProQuest Newspapers)
U.S. and international news sources.  Includes coverage of 150+ major U.S. and international newspapers such as The New York Times and the Times of London, plus hundreds of other news sources and new wires. Many articles are full text.  Updated daily.

DISSERTATION ABSTRACTS
Doctoral dissertations and masters theses from over 1,000 North American and European universities.  Coverage:  1861 to date.   Updated monthly.

PROJECT MUSE
Provides full-text electronic versions of more than 40 scholarly journals published by Johns Hopkins University Press.  Updated monthly.

HISTORICAL ABSTRACTS
Provides an index for searching modern world history. Indexes over 2000 scholarly journals, books, book reviews, and Ph.D. dissertations covering world history (exclusive of the United States and Canada) from 1450 to the present. Coverage: late 1950s to date.

JSTOR
A continuously growing electronic archive of core scholarly journal literature in full text, with the aim of digitizing the complete backfiles of selected journals in these major subject areas: African-American studies, anthropology, Asian studies, ecology, economics, education, finance, history, literature, mathematics, philosophy, political science, population/demography, sociology, and statistics. Coverage: not a current file. Most current issues of the JSTOR journals are two to five years old.

LEXIS NEXIS ACADEMIC
Good source for full-text of newspapers in French, German, Italian, and Spanish.  Also contains text of many journals, legal digests and reports, and other publications covering economic, business, medical, social science and popular culture issues. Coverage:  most files started between 1970 and 1985 and run to the present.  Some legal materials (laws, court reporters, law digests) go back to 1799.

INGENTA 
Ingenta is a multidisciplinary database indexing topics ranging from science, technology, and medicine to the humanities and social sciences.  Updated daily.
