I have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed, why don't I see my eReserves document?

eReserves uses software to compress Adobe Acrobat PDF files to make large files faster to download for people with slower connections. Compressed PDF files MUST be viewed with Adobe Acrobat Reader version 5.0 or above. If you do not have the proper Adobe Acrobat Reader version, you may see one of the three problems shown below:

Correct any of these problems by downloading and installing the latest version of Adobe Acrobat reader.

 

How can I find out if my instructor put materials on reserve for my course?

Search the eReserves Course Index by instructor, department, or course. Before you can view the list of materials or access documents, you MUST have the instructor provided Course Page password. The eReserves url is: http://ereserves.library.csulb.edu. Select a department or instructor and click.

You can use the combo boxes to select either a department or an instructor and click on the Go button, or you can use ERes QuickSearch.

How do I get the Password for Reserves?

Clicking on any of the links in the list brings up a Course Page Password screen. You MUST obtain the Course Page password from your instructor before you can see the list of reserve materials for your course. Only your instructor can provide the password. Library staff does not have access to your course password.

On the Course Page screen, enter password obtained from your instructor and click on Accept button to accept the terms of use.
