Reserve materials are RESTRICTED to CSULB students. The reserves collection consists of items that instructors place either in the library (traditional) or electronic (online via the library) for student's use. Information about reserve services can be found on our Reserves page.
Traditional (print) reserve materials are available on the lower level of the library. Electonic (online) reserve materials are availble via COAST. Search instructions for all reserve materials are listed below.

To use electronic reserve you must obtain the required password from your professor. |
To search for reserves for your course(s), start at COAST. In the right menu there is a link that says "Course Reserves." You can search for reserves by course (ex: English 100), or by your professor/instructor (ex: Smith, John).
For many of the electronic reserve items you will be using, there are browser (ex: Netscape, Internet Explorer, etc.) and/or system requirements that you may need to configure on your computer. The links below provide background information and help you make sure your computer and software meet the requirements for using electronic reserves.
If, after reviewing the above information regarding technical requirements, you are still unable to use electronic reserve materials, please submit our Technical Problem Report Form.
