Instructions to Faculty for Adding, Changing, Deleting, and Organizing Reserve Materials for Your Course |
Once you receive notification via email from Reserve Services that your Course Page has been created, you can, if you choose, change your Course Page in a number of ways:
Follow these instructions to access and update (optional) your Course Page. More extensive help is available via eReserves (click on the HELP button).
1. Access your COURSE PAGE. |
Open a web browser (Internet Explorer 5 or above or Netscape 6.2 or above) and go to the link http://ereserves.library.csulb.edu. Double click on the Login button in the upper left hand corner of the screen.

2. The LOGIN page appears. |
You may wish to change your password the first time you log in (this is optional). If you ever forget your password you can call the Reserve Services desk at 562-985-5193 or send an email and Reserve Services can reset the password.
3. Click on the box to change your password. |
4. The CHANGE ACCOUNT INFORMATION screen appears. |
You can change your course password or other information on this screen whenever you want. Anything typed in the fields below will update the information. Once you are sure the changes are correct, click Submit to update your entries.

The confirmation screen appears:

Click on Continue to have your changes accepted.
5. Courses that belong to you will display once you have logged in. |
If you originally requested only one course and would like to establish another, you can do so by clicking on the Create a new course link.

6. PAGE MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS are displayed. |
These functions allow the instructor to organize, add, change and delete the course page and materials available to students. Click on each of the blue links to learn what each item does.

7. To see your courses, click on the COURSE INDEX button. |
Find your course and click. You will now see the course page screen your students see. You will not need to login as a student since you are currently logged in as an instructor. Students will enter the course page password in the box indicated below. Remember, students CANNOT view your materials lists or materials unless you provide them with the student access password. Click the Accept button to see the reserve materials for your course.

8. You will be presented with information, folders and documents for the course as viewed by your students. |
