How has research positively impacted your CSULB education?

Tell us! How has student research added value to your CSULB education?  Send your stories to Tracey.Mayfield@csulb.edu.  Remember to include your name, class standing (junior, senior, etc) and program of study.  You may be quoted on the university website, or in the Provost's convocation address!  Think broadly and think personally.  Perhaps your research was an accomplishment that helped you stand out for an internship. Perhaps performing your own research made you think more critically about what you read in class.  Perhaps you developed valuable skills during the course of your research.  We want to know.
