"Courage to Remember" Exhibit Coming to the CSULB Library

Presented by the Foundation for California, “Courage to Remember” is a unique traveling exhibit of Holocaust education that is free to the public.

One of three exhibits traveling throughout California over the year, "Courage to Remember" is based on the internationally acclaimed exhibit of the same name from the Museum of Tolerance, the educational arm of the Simon Wiesenthal Center.

Rod Wilson, President of the Foundation for California, states "The lesson of the Holocaust ties together the past to the present, teaching the dangerous and destructive impacts of ignorance, hate and intolerance on individuals, communities and nations. In our culturally diverse state, this exhibit is not a luxury, it is a necessity."

The exhibit will be on display on the 3rd floor lobby of the University Library beginning on September 19th and continuing until October 16th.

For more information, please visit the "Courage to Remember" website at http://www.couragetoremember.com/, or contact Tracey Mayfield, Associate Dean of the Library at tmayfiel@csulb.edu.
