Color Printing and Scanning Arrive, and COAST Goes Mobile
The University Library announces the advent of three measures designed to bring new convenience to users of the Spidell Technology Center and to those who want to search the COAST online catalog using a mobile device.
- Color printing now is available in the Spidell Center; make color prints from web sites or local applications @ $1.50 per page. As with conventional printing, use your Beach Card to pay
- Two scanners now are installed for convenient digitization of print and image materials; scanning is free
- Have a Blackberry, Droid, or iPhone? These and other devices now can be used to search for books, DVD’s, government documents, and more in COAST, the library’s online catalog. Just point your mobile browser to http://m.coast.library.csulb.edu.
- If you have a mobile phone that’s not “smart” you’re still in luck; use this URL to get mobile catalog functionality http://coast.library.csulb.edu/airpac
