Introducing E-Mail Notification

The University Library is pleased to announce that we have begun a service that has been requested often by library users over the past months and years: e-mail notification.  Effective March 15, library customers will be notified by e-mail when 

  • A book or DVD they have placed a "hold" on is available for pick up
  • A book they have requested from our LINK+ consortium has arrived

Coming attractions:

Within the next few months other notifications that were formerly made by postal mail, and some that were stopped to save the cost of mailings, will be added to the e-mail notification roster above, namely: 

  • Courtesy Notices (reminders that your library materials are coming due soon)
  • Overdue Notices (reminders that library materials have become overdue)
