About

SSA provides access to English-language social sciences periodicals published in the United States and elsewhere.  This database contains a bibliographic citation for each record and these include articles, interviews, obituaries, biographies, and book reviews.  SSA gives access to resources from 1983 to present.

Searching

There are numerous ways to search within this database: keyword, author, article title, source(name of journal), subject, publication date, etc.

Full-text access

There is some full-text access to online articles available through journals that CSULB library subscribes.

Emailing results

After getting your search results, you may email the citations to yourself.  At the top or bottom of each results page, there is an email icon, click on it and type your email address.

Printing results

At the top or bottom of each results page, there is a print icon, click on it and you can print your search results.

Saving results

At the top or bottom of each results page, there is an export icon, click on it and on the following page click on the export button.  After this step you can designate where you care to save your search results.
