  • ArticleReach is for requesting articles ONLY.
  • ArticleReach is the preferred method of request for all journal, magazine, and newspaper articles.  All article requests will be requested via ArticleReach.
  • Article requests that cannot be filled by ArticleReach, will automatically be submitted to ILLiad.
  • Articles will be delivered electronically.  You will receive an email notification.
  • You can monitor your request in your Library Account (via COAST).
  • If your request cannot be filled via the library members of ArticleReach, your request will automatically be forwarded to the library's ILLiad service, where your request will be filled.

At the CSULB Library, LINK+ is completely integrated into our book searching system via COAST.  When you search for books in COAST and find one that is unavailable, or we do not have it, click the "Repeat Search in LINK+" button, and  your search will be broadcast to our many partner LINK+ libraries.  You will then be asked to log in to show you are a current CSULB student, staff or faculty member and then you will submit your request.

  • LINK+ is primarily used to request books.  Other materials, such as media, conference proceedings, and dissertations may also be available via LINK+.  Periodical articles must be requested through ArticleReach.
  • Average delivery time is 2 -5 working days.
  • Materials requested through LINK+ can be picked at the Circulation Desk (1st Floor).
  • Check the status of your LINK+ requests by viewing your Library Account (via COAST). You will receive an email notification when your item(s) is/are ready for pickup, or if there is a problem with your request..
  • NOTE: It takes 10 to 30 minutes (depending on network traffic) before the information regarding a LINK+ request item appears on your library record.
  • LINK+ questions can be directed to library personnel at the Circulation Desk.  For more information, please call (562) 985-5512.
  • For more information, please see the LINK+ information page.
