Most print and microform Government Documents are located on Lower Level Storage.  Lower Level Storage is closed to the public and items from that collection must be requested at Lower Level Service Desk. You will find selected Government Documents in the General Book Stacks as well as in the Reference Collection.

Federal Government Documents organized by SUDOC number California State Government Documents organized by CalDoc number

Search the Government Documents collection in COAST for federal (U.S.) or California State documents (regardless of building location or format).  VERY IMPORTANT:  Since some government documents may be located elsewhere in the library, if you search the Government Documents collection and do not find the item you need, search all of COAST.
