GENERAL INFORMATION:
Santa Ana College, Nealley Library and Santiago Canyon College Library are available to current CSULB students and employees.  The following identification must be presented at the Circulation Desk of either library to obtain a library card:

1. Current student or staff i.d., or current semester receipt.
2. Photo i.d. (e.g. Calif. Driver's License)
3. Social Security number

Santiago Canyon College Library
Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Saturday Closed

Santa Ana College, Nealley Library
Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. 

Hours vary during Summer semester and interim sessions.  Call for further information.

PARKING:
Santa Ana College provides 8 hour visitor parking permits for $1.00.  They are available in Lots 8 and 9 at the rear of the campus.  Use the Bristol St. entrance.
Santiago Canyon College provides metered parking in Lot 2 near the Newport Blvd. entrance to the campus.

LOAN PERIODS:
Student and staff loan period is 3 weeks for most materials.  Periodicals, pamphlets, and general use videos are available for 7 days only.  Faculty loan period is end of current semester.  No loans available for any Reserve books, videos, or readings.

RENEWALS:
Only 3 week items are renewable.  They may be renewed up to 3 times for 1 week each time.  Borrowers must bring library card and books to the library in person in order to renew materials.

RETURNS:
Materials must be returned inside the library or in the bookdrops located on either campus.  Santa Ana College bookdrop is located on the curb behind the library.  The bookdrop at Santiago Canyon College is located near the flagpole at the Chapman Ave. entrance to the campus.

OVERDUE FINES / REPLACEMENT CHARGES:
Notices for overdue materials or unresolved charges will be mailed to borrower.  Charges for overdue, damaged, or lost materials must be paid at the Circulation Desk of either library.

Overdue Fines: $0.10 per day per item  $0.50 per day per video
Lost items are billed at the cost of item plus a $5.00 processing fee.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Borrowers are subject to the rules and regulations of Rancho Santiago Community College District that govern access to and availability of library materials, loan periods, renewals, and late fees.  Failure to return materials or to pay unresolved charges will result in the loss of library privileges at both colleges.  The borrower's own campus library may also use whatever means possible to resolve the matter, including withholding library privileges, grades, transcripts, or registration.
