First time accessing SciFinder Scholar on Safari

  1. After clicking on the SciFinder Scholar link, you will be brought to the following page.  Please enter your campus ID and CSULB Library Password/PIN.  Note this password can be different from your MyCSULB password.

  2. Once you have entered the information above, you will get the following error dialog box.  If you do not want to get this error message again, click on “Show Certificate” and select “Always trust “mcc1.library.csulb.edu” when connecting to mcc1.library.csulb.edu”.  Then simply click on “Continue” to proceed.

  3. You are now set to login into the SciFinder site.
