First time accessing SciFinder Scholar on Firefox
- After clicking on the SciFinder Scholar link, you will be brought to the following page. Please enter your campus ID and CSULB Library Password/PIN. Note this password can be different from your MyCSULB password.
- Once you have entered the information above, you will get the following error page. Next, click on “Or you can add an exception…”
- A small area will appear on the screen where you can add the certificate as an exception. Click on “Add Exception…”
- A dialog box will appear. Click on “Get Certificate”.
- Next, the Certificate Status information and option appears. You will have the option to permanently store this exception or if you want to just set it for the session. Once done, click on “Confirm Security Exception” to continue.
- You are now set to login into the SciFinder site.
