I see About Netscape 6, is my version OK for using Library web applications?

Before you can be sure that your Netscape 6 browser is compatible with Library web applications, you have to know the EXACT version number. The Netscape version 6.0 browser IS NOT compatible with Library web applications. You can find the exact browser version by looking at the About Netscape 6 screen. To see the screen, follow the steps highlighted in red below:

Click Help.

About Netscape 6

Drag the menu bar to About Netscape 6 and click. You'll see the version number at the top of the screen. As long as the Netscape version is 6.1 and above, your browser is compatible with Library web applications. Proceed to the next step:

This is your Netscape 6 version number

You must upgrade your browser to Netscape 6.2x if the version number is 6.0. Click here to download and install Netscape 6.2x.

Once you have successfully downloaded and installed Netscape 6.2x, go to the next step:
