Installation Instructions

This software will be authenticated through June 30, 2009 with a three month grace period during which time a new "installation data" file will be provided. Once installed, you will renew SAS via Start -> All Programs -> SAS -> SAS 9.1 Utilities -> Renew SAS Software. See the document "SAS Renewal.doc" for instructions.


Installation Instructions

To install SAS for WIndows, insert the DVD and follow the steps below:

 

1. Select a setup language. Click OK.

2. Select "Verify System Requirements".

3. Welcome to the System Requirements Wizard will appear. Click Next.

4. Enter your password if you want to log on automatically after any reboots. The System Requirements may erquire reboots. Click Next.

5. Click Next. This updates your system with the minimum system requirements.

6. Click Finish.

7. Select End-User Step #3 - "Install SAS Software".

8. Click Next.

9. Click Next.

10. The SAS Installation Data window will appear. Click Browse.

11. Navigate to the DVD disc. Select: sas91_336027.txt. Click Open.

12. Click Next.

13. Setup will begin performing the requested operations. Click Next.

14. The default language is English. Click Next.

15. The default destination Folder is recommended. Click Next.

16. The default Data Files Folder is recommended. Click Next.

17. The default Temporary Files Folder is recommended. Click Next.

18. The default Components are recommended. Click Next.

19. Click Next.

Start Copying Files

20. SAS will install several directories from the DVD. Click Next.

21. During the post processing, you will see this prompt. Check "Use this response for all file types". Click Yes.

22. When prompted to insert the "Setup Disk", change the path to D:\. Click Ok.

23. The SAS Setup Complete screen will appear. Click Finish.
