InstallationCampus-owned ComputersIf the software you download from Software Depot is in the ISO format and your CD-burning software does not support ISO images, OAT recommends downloading ISO Recorder [opens new window]. The software you download from Software Depot will be in ISO format so that you can easily duplicate that software for installation on your department's computers. Microsoft Windows XP Professional is part of the CSULB Microsoft Campus Agreement Program. Activate the product using CSULB's volume license key ( serial number ) for this product during the installation process [opens new window]. The license key is displayed as part of the product details in Software Depot. Log in to Software Depot and then click on the "My Software" link in the upper left hand corner of the page. Click on the link labeled "Secure Download" for the product and activation code. Personally-owned ComputersThe University's Volume Licensing Media and keys may NOT be used for Microsoft Wnidows XP Professional installations on personally owned computers used primarily for university business. For those installations, faculty and staff must purchase a media kit from the bookstore.
