Product

The product is LecShare Pro. The software helps to make PowerPoint programs accessible for everyone. It allows you to add audio to Microsoft PowerPoint presentations to create QuickTime movies, MPEG-4 Video files (Video Podcasts), Accessible HTML, and Microsoft Word documents. You can either record audio through a microphone or import audio files.

License

California State University, Long Beach has a site license for LecShare Pro. It is an annual license coordinated by the Office of Academic Technology. Faculty and staff can install this software on university-owned and personally-owned computers used primarily for university business.

While the license does not require a division, department or college technologist to install LecShare Pro, installation requires that the user have administrative privileges on the workstation. Contact your division, department or college technologist for assistance.

Installation

Personal Workstation

LecShare Pro is licensed per user on a computer. When registering the product make sure to register it as the user. The serial number will have to be entered for each user installing LecShare Pro.

Computer Lab Deployment

If you are deploying LecShare Pro to a large number of computers ( i.e. a computer lab ):  To facilitate entering the serial number for each user, create a login script that will apply the following registry keys.
