Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional.

License

California State University, Long Beach has purchased a license for the installation of Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional on all university-owned computers. This license has been made through the systemwide CSU Adobe CLP licensing agreement [opens new window]. and is coordinated by the Office of Academic Technology. The Acrobat 9 Professional license was purchased to support accessible document creation by the ATI steering committee and is in its first year.

Accessibility

California State University, Long Beach has purchased Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional to support faculty efforts to make their curricular materials accessible. Faculty, staff and students can visit the CSU website tutorials to learn how best to use Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional.

Faculty and Staff

Faculty and staff may purchase Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional at the University Computer Store [opens new window] for personally owned computers used primarily for university business.

Software installation always requires administrative privileges of which you may not have on your university-owned computer. Campus technology staff can download Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional from Software Depot. Please contact your division, department or college technologist for assistance.

Students

Students are not eligible to install CSULB's licensed Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional on their personal computers. Students can use the software wherever it is installed on university-owned computers such as the campus computer labs.

Students can also purchase Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional through the University Computer Store [opens new window] for personally owned computers used primarily for university business.
