Share a BeachBoard Portfolio with Users

1. Login to BeachBoard at https://beachboard.csulb.edu/.
2. Click the My Content tab.
3. Click the Portfolios icon on the left side of the screen.
4. Click the My Portfolios link.
5. To the right of the portfolio in which you wish to add pages, click the Modify link.
6. Click the Share Portfolio link.
7. Click the Share with Users icon .
8. Under Choose Users, type in the Campus ID number of the person you would like to share your portfolio with. Separate multiple Campus IDs with commas.
9. Under Email Information, select Send Email if you would like to notify the Users by email that you are sharing your portfolio with them.
   • Select Send copy of message to self, if you would like a copy sent to your email.
   • Select Use blind carbon copy (Bcc:), if you would like a a copy sent to your email by Bcc.
10. Click Submit

11. Login to BeachBoard at https://beachboard.csulb.edu/.
12. Click the My Content tab.
13. Click the Portfolios icon on the left side of the screen.
14. Click the My Portfolios link.
15. To the right of the portfolio in which you wish to add pages, click the Modify link.
16. Click the Share Portfolio link.
17. Click the Share with External Users icon.
18. Under Email Recipients, enter the external users email address. Separate multiple email addresses with commas.
19. Under Email Information, BeachBoard automatically generates an email that contains a link to your Portfolio. You can add content to the email, but do NOT modify the <PORTFOLIO_URL> text.
    • Select Send copy of message to self, if you would like a copy sent to your email.
    • Select Use blind carbon copy (Bcc:), if you would like a a copy sent to your email by Bcc.
20. Under Portfolio Password (optional),
    • Select Use password
    • To the right of the words Use password, type in your password.
    • Select Include password in email to have your password included in the email sent to the external users. (optional)
21. Under Expiration, determine the amount of time for which this share will be valid.
    • No expiration
    • Lifetime: type in a number and from the drop-down menu, choose either minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years.
22. Click Submit
