Sending Email in BeachBoard

Using BeachBoard's Send Email tool, you can contact your instructor via email. Your email address is fed directly from MyCSULB into BeachBoard, and you can change or update your preferred email address in MyCSULB. Your preferred email address can be from any email provider, for example, Gmail, Yahoo, Earthlink, Cox.net, etc., but BeachBoard Services strongly recommends against using an email address from Hotmail or MSN.   For reasons beyond our control, Hotmail and MSN assumes that email messages from BeachBoard are spam and either moves those messages to your Junk E-Mail folder or blocks those emails from being delivered to you.

To create a new CSULB internet account and request a @csulb.edu email address, visit http://www.csulb.edu/namemaster/ and follow the on-screen instructions.
