Logging In To BeachBoard As A Guest

By default, BeachBoard courses are private and are not available to the general public. Occasionally, though, CSULB instructors will make their courses available to guests. To login to BeachBoard and access a course in which the instructor has chosen to allow guest access:

1. Point your web browser to https://beachboard.csulb.edu/
2. In the bottom right corner of the login screen click the Preview button
3. At the top of the page, click the Courses tab
4. In the green Course Search box, key in the name of the course you'd like to preview (for example: ECON 100)
5. Click the orange GO! button
6. Courses that allow guest access with display two buttons on the right side of the screen: Preview and Login. Click the Preview button to access the course as a guest. If you do not see a Preview button, that means the instructor of that course has chosen not to make his or her course available to the general public. There is no way for guests to access the course content of instructors who choose not to make their content available to the general public.
