Getting Started with BeachBoard for Instructors

To use BeachBoard in your course,

1. Login to BeachBoard at https://beachboard.csulb.edu with your MyCSULB campus ID and password.
2. Under My Courses, select the hyperlink for the course you wish to access.
3. Review your course's basic template which includes places for Announcements, your Syllabus, Course Documents, etc.
4. Post your course content [such as your syllabus, course documents/handouts, assignments, and announcements] in your BeachBoard course.
5. Make your course available to your students.

There are several additional options and tools available that will let you post interactive quizzes and surveys, create custom learning paths, teach with online discussion boards, etc. eLearning consultants are experienced with web-based teaching and can help instructors learn more about BeachBoard. BeachBoard Services also offers free, one-on-one online training by appointment, one-on-one training by drop-in or appointment, face-to-face training workshops, and online training videos. Login and setup

• BeachBoard's login page is https://beachboard.csulb.edu/
  • In the Campus ID box, enter your nine digit campus ID.
  • In the Password box, enter your MyCSULB password.
• Set up a New BeachBoard Account and Password
