Add Discussion Forum

  1. Log into BeachBoard at https://beachboard.csulb.edu/.
  2. Under My Courses, click the name of the course in which you like to add a Discussion Board forum to a group.
  3. Under Tools, click the Communication link.

  4. Click the Group Pages link.

  5. Click the name of the group in which you would like to add a forum.

  6. Click the Group Discussion Board link.

  7. When you create a new group, BeachBoard automatically creates a forum for that group with the same title as the group name. You can still add a new forum.
  8. Click the Forum icon Forum icon.
