Creating a BeachBoard Portfolio

New : Watch a closed captioned movie that shows you how to create portfolio

1. Log into BeachBoard at https://beachboard.csulb.edu.
2. Click on the My Content tab.
3. On the left side of the screen, click on the Portfolios icon.
4. Click the My Portfolios link.
5. Click the Add Personal Portfolio icon .
6. Under Select Method, select Create New.
7. Under General Information
   • Type in a title for your Portfolio
   • Type in a description for your Portfolio (optional)
8. Under Availability,
   • Select Available if you would like to share with other people or courses.
   • Select Comments are Private if you would like the comments about your Portfolio to be hidden people who view your Portfolio.
   • Select Evaluations are Private if you would like all published evaluations to be hidden from people who view your Portfolio.
9. Click Submit.
10. Once you have clicked submit, BeachBoard will automatically open the Modify Portfolio page, where you will be able to customize your Portfolio.
