Course Design

New : Watch a closed captioned movie that shows you how to design a course menu

This option allows you the ability to change the color and design of your course menu buttons in your BeachBoard Course.  In order to change your course design, please follow the steps below:

1. Login to BeachBoard. https://beachboard.csulb.edu/
2. Under My Courses, click the name of the course in which you would like to change the Course Menu options.
3. Click the course's Control Panel link.
4. Under Course Options, click the Course Design link.
5. Once under the Course Menu Design page you have two options in the Select Menu Style section:
   • Select the Buttons icon if you want your menu links displayed as buttons on your course page.
   • Select the Text button if you want your menu links displayed as text only.
6. Under Select Style Properties you have the options to change Text and Background color of the Menu Style you selected.
7. Change the necessary options.
8. Click the Submit button.
