Educational Expenses:

Partial educational expenses (in-state tuition, accommodation, excursion, etc.) will be paid for all students accepted into the program. Expected from any selected participant is a commitment to fully apply oneself to the goals of the program and to follow it to completion (a two year obligation), including a pledge to speak Chinese only during study and extra-curricular periods.

Students accepted to the program will pay a non-refundable $600 program fee prior to each summer phase (total of $1200 for two years) to be collected at the first orientation of each summer session. Due to budget constraints students are now responsible for their own international travel expenses. Tuition, and accommodations during the summer programs will be compensated by scholarship. Students pay for meals and books.

Since budget resources are limited, phase I summer study (2011) is guaranteed, while subsequent phases of study are pending upon the availability of funding.
