Chinese Language Activities:

Activities: All students are required to actively participate in daily afternoon GA (graduate students) tutoring time, language/culture related activities, excursions to local Chinese communities, and cultural events. Some activities include:

• Martial arts
• Chinese calligraphy
• Basketball
• Badminton
• Table tennis (ping-pong)
• Whip a top (da tuoluo)
• Kick shuttlecock (ti jianzi)
• Visiting local Chinese communities
• Sing Chinese songs
• Chat online with native speakers
• Moviemaking
