Fifth Semester Student Data

Data about California State University, Long Beach students that have no prior postsecondary experience attending any institution for the first time at the undergraduate level and are tracked starting with their fifth chronological Term after entry.

These reports can be viewed by Within University or College, College at Fifth Term, Admission Characteristics at entry (SAT, High School G.P.A. and College Readiness) and Demographic Characteristics at entry (Sex, Pell Eligibility, Minority Status, First-Generation Status and Race/Ethnicity).

Fifth Term Fall Cohort students who enter as First-Time Freshmen tracking of their Graduation, Persistence and Retention viewable by Within University or Within College, one through four years after the Fifth Term and College at Fifth Term. A student that starts and graduates within the same College is counted as ‘Within College’ where students that start and end in different Colleges is counted as ‘Within University’.

Fifth Term Fall Cohort and College at Fifth Term students who enter as First-Time Freshmen tracking of their Graduation, Persistence and Retention viewable by Within University or Within College and one through four years after the Fifth Term. A student that starts and graduates within the same College is counted as ‘Within College’ where students that start and end in different Colleges is counted as ‘Within University’.

Fifth Term Fall Cohort students who enter as First-Time Freshmen tracking of their Graduation, Persistence and Retention viewable by Within University or Within College, one through four years after the Fifth Term, College at Fifth Term and Admission Characteristic. A student that starts and graduates within the same College is counted as ‘Within College’ where students that start and end in different Colleges is counted as ‘Within University’. Admission Characteristics are comprised of SAT Composite, High School G.P.A. and College Readiness at time of entry to the University.
