They can help enhance your personal communication skills by providing you with individualized assistance to become an effective public speaker, conversationalist, or group leader. Communication professionals use their expertise and multimedia technology to provide you with rehearsal, coaching, and consultation.

Scientific Writing Resource (Duke Graduate School)
The Scientific Writing Resource is an online course material that teaches science students at the graduate level how to write effectively. The material is not about correctness (grammar, punctuation, etc.), but about communicating what you intend to the reader.
