Quicksteps – Continuing CSULB Students

This information is intended to provide you with a basic roadmap to successfully navigate through Summer Sessions.

1. Determine your Eligibility to Enroll

Continuing students eligible to enroll in Summer classes will receive email notification of their registration access date and time in late February or early March. Access is based, as in other terms, on class level and units earned. To qualify for self service registration and state support fees for Summer, you must meet all the following criteria:

  • You must be enrolled in a state supported, degree, credential, or credit certificate program or on approved leave the preceding Spring semester.
  • You will not complete your degree program in the preceding Spring semester. If you filed for Spring graduation, but know you will not complete your program, you must move your graduation date forward at Enrollment Services (BH-101).
  • Be in good academic standing (not academically disqualified.)

View your enrollment appointment at MyCSULB.

2. Select your Classes

Check out our browsable listing of classes where you can view offerings by Academic Subject, by College, or by General Education Category updated nightly. The course you really need to graduate on time might just be offered!
