What is ETS?

Educational Talent Search (ETS) is a free, federally-funded program housed at California State University, Long Beach since 1977.

How can ETS help me?

The purpose of ETS is to identify, select and assist low-income and potential first-generation students to continue in and to graduate from secondary school and enroll in a post secondary educational program.

ETS targets specific, local schools to locate students who may require extra assistance in taking steps toward seeking higher education. For more information about our Target Schools, including school advisors and their office hours, please visit our ETS Staff Information page.

For a full list of ETS services, please visit our Services Provided page.

What's here on the ETS website?

Resources for scholarships and financial aid, the ETS activities calendar, ETS newsletters in pdf form, and useful links to college planning and career planning sites are all here to help both students and parents.
