Course of Study

Typical Schedule

Both MA + Credential and Credential-only candidates will enter the course sequence together for the initial 3 semesters. Classes meet one night per week in first 2 semesters and 2 nights per week in the third semester.

Semester 1:

EDAD 541 - Leadership, Organizational Management and Ethics

EDAD 649 - Urban and Community Leadership

Semester 2:

EDAD 677B - Instructional Leadership and Assessment

EDAD 677A - Curriculum, Program Development, and Evaluation

Semester 3:

EDAD 647A - Fiscal Resources in Educational Administration

EDAD 647B - Human Resources in Educational Administration

EDAD 544 - Legal Aspects of Education

During one summer, an Advanced Field Experience (internship) rounds out credential requirements.

Semester 4:

Master's candidates typically take EDAD 695 - Masters Research Study.
