The Office of Public Affairs and Publications provides information about California State University, Long Beach to internal and external audiences through print, Web and broadcast media. The office has won several awards from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and other awards for quality communications.

As part of the university's strategic marketing and communications efforts, staff writers, editors, art directors and photographers work closely with clients to produce a variety of print and electronic materials to promote the university's excellence.
In collaboration with campus administrators, the office produces annual reports to inform key support groups about the university's educational programs and financial status.
The office works with a number of campus offices to produce informational print materials, such as college brochures, student recruitment materials and departmental newsletters. The office also designs invitations, programs, posters and advertisements for major events.

The Beach Review is the biannual magazine of Cal State Long Beach for alumni, friends of the university, faculty and staff. To submit a Beach Review "In Touch" class note, a letter to the editor or alumni change-of-name or -address, let us know.

The Office of Public Affairs is responsible for the Cal State Long Beach Web site, and works with campus administrative and academic Webmasters in a coordinated effort.
