College of Business Administration

College of Business

The College of Business Administration is a teaching-learning community of scholars that academically and professionally prepares a diverse student body to excel in a dynamic global environment. We seek to become the College of Choice for business students in Southern California by providing a high quality learning and research environment with a global perspective and contributing to regional economic development.

The faculty, staff, and administrators who form the backbone of our undergraduate and graduate business programs are committed to providing students a rewarding educational experience that is the hallmark of California State University, Long Beach. Since 1971, we have been one of the country's business schools privileged to have accreditation by AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). This accreditation recognizes our commitment to quality and continuous improvement in our educational programs and offerings. In addition, the California Awards for Performance Excellence (CAPE), which recognizes organizations for their commitment to excellence, quality, and outstanding customer service, has awarded its 2001 California Prospector Award to the College. We are the first business school in California to have been recognized with this award.

CBA’s enrollment includes 5,300 undergraduate majors, 350 undergraduate minors, and 375 graduate students, making it one of the largest public business schools in California.
