TRiO Student Support Services Program (SSSP)

By participating in TRiO SSSP, students:

• receive comprehensive academic/career counseling services.
• may sign up for preparatory workshops for the Writing Proficiency Exam (WPE).
• take supplemental instruction courses that develop successful study skills.
• receive financial aid application assistance.
• have the opportunity for involvement in cultural events.
• have access to a computer lab, resource books and free printing.
• may take advantage of the laptop loan program.
• may obtain supplemental Pell Grant monies.
• may join the TRiO Student Support Services Program Student Council and experience leadership and campus involvement.
• participate in a mentor program for coordinated peer support.
• receive free tutoring services.
