Annual Registration of Student Organizations
All student organizations must be registered and in "good standing" with the Student Life & Development office for the following privileges:
- to maintain university recognition, use of the university name;
- use of campus services, facilities and grounds;
- use of organizational mailbox in the University Student Union;
- opportunity to apply for a University Student Union work station in the Robert C. Maxson Student Organization Center;
- link web page with the CSULB Student Life and Development website;
- apply for Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) grants;

The Registration process with the Office of Student Life & Development is as follows:
- Maintain an up-to-date roster of the organization and a minimum of four officers listed on the Organization Registration Card (ORC).
- File the Organization Registration Card (ORC) by October 1 of each academic year. Any organization who changes officers must submit an updated ORC within four weeks of the ORC expiration date. If an organization fails to meet the deadlines they lose "good standing" privileges until the ORC is submitted to the Student Life & Development office.
- Submit the Alcohol Regulation Compliance Agreement (ARCA) concurrently with the ORC. All officers and the faculty/staff advisor must sign the ARCA.
- All Greek letter social organizations: submit the “Fraternity and Sorority Registration Packet” concurrently with Section E, 1 through 3, above.
