Start eating right now! Meet with a peer nutrition counselor who will tailor a one-hour, free session to your needs. Evaluation of your dietary habits and a personal plan will be developed. You can meet with a peer nutrition counselor throughout the semester.

How do I make an appointment?
Call the Health Resource Center at (562) 985-4609 or come in to the Health Resource Center and we will schedule an appointment. You must fill out and return a nutrition counseling intake form at least 48 hours before your appointment in order for your counselor to have an opportunity to prepare materials to meet your individual needs.
Save some time by downloading the required paperwork (Form 1), fill them out and bring them with you to our office.
Where is the nutrition counseling program?
In the Health Resource Center, room 268.
How much does it cost?
It's free for CSULB students.
Who are the nutrition counselors?
Senior and graduate level students from the Department of Family and Consumer Science's Dietetics program.
Is nutrition counseling only for students that want to lose weight?
Not at all. The nutrition counselors can help you with whatever dietary concerns you may have. They can help develop a healthy eating plan that will fit your particular health needs and lifestyle.
