About Living On Campus

A Message from the Housing Director

Stan Olin

California State University, Long Beach is a wonderful place to learn, to grow and to become a part of campus life. The beauty and location of our university, the quality of our academic programs, student services, the opportunities for involvement and the friendly diversity of our faculty, staff and students offer each student a unique path to success.

Within the larger university, our Housing and Residential Life community is more analogous to a small college environment. With housing for more than 1,900 students, our residence halls are located on the west side of the campus, a short walking distance from The Walter Pyramid. Read full message from the director.
