The Administration Office plans, directs and coordinates the activities of Associated Students' various divisions in support of policies, goals and objectives established by the Executive Officers and the Board of Directors, or Senate. It is responsible for the overall management of the corporation, ensuring compliance with Student Government directives, laws and regulations, and sound business practices. This office is comprised of the following staff: ASI Executive Director, ASI Archivist, ASI Development Officer, and the ASI Communications Coordinator.

The Associated Students Business Office offers a variety of personal business services including traveler's checks, money orders, post office box rentals, notary public services and student health insurance.
Student Health Insurance
To address health care needs beyond the capabilities of the Student Health Services , the ASI makes available for purchase a major medical/accident insurance policy. This policy provides semester or year-round coverage for individual students, with additional coverage available for dependents. Dental and optical plans are available for purchase as well.

ASI Recycling Center is an award-winning, State-certified drop-off facility and redemption center. It operates the CSULB campus recycling program and provides a convenient location where students and others can exchange recyclable beverage containers for their cash redemption value. Each month the Center's efforts result in the preservation of over 2,300 trees, the conservation of 4,780 barrels of oil, and the diversion of over 600 cubic yards of waste from area landfills.

Home to the AS Commissioners, all CSULB Spirit Programs (Dance, Cheer, Mascot and Band) as well as Beach Patrol, a student rewards program that provides incentives for attending athletic events. The center promotes school spirit, events, and activities for students at CSULB.

The Child Development Center is a State-licensed day care
facility where staff provide quality child development services which enable student parents to attend classes at the university. The Center offers children an experience that facilitates their growth, learning, and creativity. Children of student parents receive priority for registration.

K-Beach Radio is an on-campus student run radio station that transmits over the Internet , Long Beach City and Dormitory Cable Television, as well as campus buildings . Programming consist of a variety of music , talk-radio, and special features often found outside the mainstream culture and media. This includes new and emerging local, national, and international music plus coverage of diverse viewpoints. It offers students from all majors a chance to participate in radio broadcasting.

The Union is a weekly newspaper with a circulation of 12,000 published by Associated Students. As a student-funded newspaper, the Long Beach Union is open to all students who wish to participate , and is typically known for it's edgy writing. In addition to news stories and features, the Long Beach Union accepts submissions of fictional works, satire, poetry, comic strips, artwork, and photography.
Each year the Associated Students, Inc. provides a number of scholarships to CSULB students. The amount and qualifications for each scholarship vary. Generally, scholarships are awarded during the fall and spring semesters. During the 2006-2007 school year, AS Government made an unprecedented move to create more scholarship opportunities for students. Funds once allocated for AS Government's California State Student Association membership are now being used for scholarships in hopes of offering a greater number of scholarships to more diverse segments of the CSULB student body. Student clubs and organizations. Through grants of money to these organizations, the A.S. provides over 1,000 events and activities each year to address the educational, social and recreational needs of the student body.

Through its lease agreement with the CSU Trustees, ASI operates the University Student Union, a 149,000 square foot facility for out-of-class activities. Recreational amenities include a bowling alley, billiard tables, swimming pool, video arcade and music listening lounge.

University Student Union Program Council provides a balanced variety of performing arts, films, lectures, social events, comedy and novelty acts which are diverse, entertaining and educational. USU Program Council also gives students that volunteer in this area skills and experiences that mold them into leaders, while preparing them for the real world.
Associated Students, Inc. is a nonprofit membership association and auxiliary organization of the university. The mission of ASI is to improve the quality of campus life for students while enhancing their educational experience. Students automatically become members of the association when they pay their mandatory student fees at the time of registration.
