Against Women

About the Program

Project Safe is a collaborative effort of the CSULB Women’s Resource Center, Interval House domestic violence program and the Long Beach Sexual Assault Crisis Agency.

The mission of Project Safe is to provide prevention and intervention activities, including support and advocacy, to reduce the incidence of sexual assault, domestic violence and stalking on the CSULB campus.

Our extensive prevention education program raises awareness of sexual, domestic and gender based violence and helps develop solutions on the campus.

Project partners also provide direct services for survivors of sexual or domestic violence and stalking.

Project Safe campus partners include the Student Health Center/Health Resource Center, University Police, and Counseling and Psychological Services.

* The WRC is also a member of the CSULB Sexual Assault Coordinating Committee.
